Machine translations takatā

We do not allow machine translations on this version of Wikipedia; they are not sufficiently accurate. I understand the English Wikipedia has a similar policy; you can use machine translation to help, but you must carefully examine its output. You need to have a good grasp of te reo to do this. As an example, the article you created at Mango tohorā‎, apparently using Google Translate, used 'tangata' to refer to an individual shark. My own knowledge of te reo may not be adequate, but I think this word only applies to people, and I changed it to 'mango takitahi'. Either pay more attention to the correctness of the translation, or stop adding these articles.-gadfium (talk) 05:34, 27 Pēpuere 2024 (UTC)Reply
